Our CSR-organisation.

CSR coordinator.

The CSR coordinator supports and inspires the CSR focus groups and monitors the progress of the CSR programme and objectives, in close consultation with the CSR steering committee and the CSR team.

CSR focus groups.

For each CSR focus area, focus groups are set up in view of initiating concrete actions. These focus groups have the operational task of translating our strategy into a concrete action plan.

By bringing together employees with different jobs and roles in focus groups, we maximise awareness throughout the company and increase support for our CSR strategy.

The focus groups are led by a member of the CSR team. They engage internal stakeholders to take concrete steps and measure progress.

CSR team.

The CSR team brings together the operational managers for every CSR focus area. They each represent a spearhead of our CSR policy and head a group of employees discussing and developing concrete actions.

The CSR team is responsible for coordinating, shaping and implementing the CSR action programme. In this team, ideas and necessary partnerships for the focus areas are discussed and proposed. This is how we build support to grow towards a fundamental and sustainable business management.

CSR steering committee.

The CSR steering committee has the strategic responsibility to shape the CSR policy within Jan De Nul Group. Each member sponsors a specific CSR focus area and monitors progress within the CSR team and in the CSR focus groups.

The CSR steering committee brings together eight members from management: the operational dredging, offshore, environment and civil divisions as well as the supporting HR, Finance, QHSSE and Technical Departments, all are represented in this committee.

The steering committee reports to the board of directors about the concrete implementation of the CSR programme.
